Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen, yang ditunjukkan melalui perilaku seperti sering keluar masuk kelas, tidak mengerjakan tugas, terlambat mengikuti pembelajaran, kurang memperhatikan guru, mengantuk, dan tidak aktif dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas XI.6 di SMA Kristen Makale. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa pada tahap prasiklus sebesar 3,125%, meningkat menjadi 50% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 84,375% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low level of students’ interest in learning Christian Religious Education, as indicated by behaviors such as frequently leaving and entering the classroom, failing to complete assignments, arriving late, paying little attention to the teacher, feeling sleepy, and showing limited participation in the learning process. The study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the Course Review Horay (CRH) cooperative learning model in improving the learning interest of Class XI.6 students at Makale Christian Senior High School. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The findings revealed that students’ learning interest in the pre-cycle stage was 3.125%, which increased to 50% in Cycle I and reached 84.375% in Cycle II. These results indicate that the Course Review Horay (CRH) cooperative learning model is effective in enhancing students’ interest in learning Christian Religious Education.
