Abstract
ABSTRAK Awal penelitian ini dilakukan ditemukan kondisi siswa dalam satu kelas mengalami kekurangan kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat (20,8%), pada mata pelajaran PAK. Penerapan strategi belajar tipe time token membuat pembelajaran menarik dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat siswa kelas VIII B SMP Kristen Kandora. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dengan kategori sangat baik, baik, cukup, dan kurang. Indikator keberhasilan yaitu 75% siswa memiliki kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah menerapkan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token, kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat siswa pada pra siklus diperoleh 20,8% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat pada kategori baik, pada siklus I menjadi 41,6% dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik, siswa yang mampu mengemukakan pendapat dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,1% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik. Dengan demikian bisa disimpulkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat. The application of the time token type learning strategy makes learning interesting and is able to improve students' ability to express opinions. This study aims to apply the time token type cooperative learning strategy to improve the ability to express opinions of class VIII B students of Kandora Christian Middle School. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method with two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study were through observation and documentation. The instrument used was an observation sheet with categories of very good, good, sufficient, and lacking. The indicator of success was that 75% of students had the ability to express opinions. The results of this study indicate that after implementing the time token type cooperative learning strategy, the ability to express opinions of students in the pre-cycle was obtained by 20.8% of students who had the ability to express opinions in the good category, in cycle I it became 41.6% with good and very good categories, students who were able to express opinions and in cycle II it increased to 79.1% of students who had the ability to express opinions in the good and very good categories.
