Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat siswa dalam belajar di sekolah, yang terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang tidak aktif belajar di kelas, sering keluar masuk kelas, dan ribut saat belajar di kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bimbingan klasikal teknik brainstorming terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan klasikal teknik brainstorming dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat pertemuan. Pada tahap pra siklus diperoleh skor 48,27% dengan kategori kurang, siklus I diperoleh skor 66,68% kategori cukup dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan 89,93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan klasikal teknik brainstorming efektif terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao. Kata kunci: bimbingan klasikal, teknik brainstorming, minat belajar ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low interest of students in learning at school, which can be seen from the behavior of students who are not actively learning in class, often going in and out of class, and making noise while studying in class. The purpose of this study was to study classical guidance using the brainstorming technique to increase students' interest in learning. This study used a classroom action research method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, field notes and documentation. The results of the study showed that classical guidance of brainstorming techniques was implemented in two cycles consisting of four meetings. In the pre-cycle stage, a score of 48.27% was obtained with a less than ideal category, in the first cycle a score of 66.68% was obtained with a sufficient category, and in the second cycle an increase of 89.93% was obtained with a very good category. Thus, it was concluded that classical guidance of brainstorming techniques was effective in increasing the learning interest of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao.
