Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa dalam merencanakan karier masa depannya. Sehingga diperlukan layanan bimbingan karier yang dapat membantu siswa mengenali diri, memahami minat, dan merencanakan masa depan lebih terarah. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan karier terhadap perencanaan karier sesuai minat siswa kelas X.4 SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. Bimbingan karier yang diberikan melalui layanan bimbingan klasikal merupakan salah satu dari beberapa jenis bimbingan konseling yang dapat diberikan kepada siswa yang belum mengenali minat dalam diri, belum mampu merumuskan perencanaan karier yang terarah dan realistis. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teori perencanaan karier menurut Dillard yang teridiri dari 5 yaitu: memahami diri sendiri, mencapai kepuasan pribadi, menyesuaikan pekerjaan dan penghasilan, efisiensi dan manajemen waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pre-experimental design dengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.4 yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara bimbingan karier terhadap perencanaan karier siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi uji Paired Sample t-Test, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. yang berarti terdapat perbedaan antara skor pretest dan posttest setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan karier. Kata Kunci : Bimbingan Karier, Perencanaan Karier Sesuai Minat Siswa ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the issue of students' low understanding in planning their future careers. Therefore, career guidance services are needed to help students recognize themselves, understand their interests, and plan their future more clearly. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of career guidance on career planning based on students’ interests in class X.4 of SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. The career guidance provided through classical guidance services is one type of counseling service that can be given to students who have not yet recognized their interests or have not been able to formulate a clear and realistic career plan. The theory used in this study is Dillard’s career planning theory, which consists of five aspects: understanding oneself, achieving personal satisfaction, aligning work and income, efficiency, and time management. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 33 students of class X.4. The results showed that there was a significant effect of career guidance on students' career planning. This is indicated by the result of the Paired Sample t-Test with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a difference between the pretest and posttest scores after the career guidance service was given.
