Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kurangnya persepsi positif siswa terhadap guru BK di SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan klasikal teknik modeling terhadap persepsi siswa tentang guru BK. Teori dasar dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada konsep bimbingan dan konseling, teknik modeling menurut Bandura, serta persepsi siswa terhadap guru BK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment) dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian diambil secara purposive sampling, terdiri atas dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yaitu kelas XI TKJ B sebanyak 35 siswa dan kelompok kontrol yaitu kelas X TKJ A sebanyak 36 siswa, sehingga jumlah populasi keseluruhan adalah 71 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket persepsi siswa berbentuk skala Likert, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan tidak berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan skor persepsi siswa pada kelompok eksperimen setelah diberi layanan bimbingan klasikal teknik modeling, dengan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 112,17 dan posttest sebesar 134,20. Uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai t = 9,452 dengan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Sementara itu, kelompok kontrol menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak signifikan dengan t = 1,247 dan p = 0,219 karena tidak diberikan perlakuan. Hasil uji-t tidak berpasangan antara posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (t = 5,986, p = 0,000). Nilai effect size (Cohen’s d) sebesar 1,56 tergolong dalam kategori kuat, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik modeling efektif dalam memperbaiki persepsi siswa terhadap guru BK. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Klasikal, Teknik Modeling, Persepsi Siswa ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the problem of the lack of positive perception of students towards guidance and counseling teachers at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of classical guidance using modeling techniques on students' perceptions of guidance and counseling teachers. The basic theory in this research refers to the concept of guidance and counseling, modeling techniques according to Bandura, and students' perceptions of guidance and counseling teachers. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling, consisting of two groups: the experimental group, namely class XI TKJ B, with 35 students and the control group, namely class X TKJ A, with 36 students, so that the total population is 71 students. The instrument used is a student perception questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale, then the data are analyzed using paired and unpaired t-tests. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' perception scores in the experimental group after being given classical guidance services using modeling techniques, with an average pretest score of 112.17 and a posttest score of 134.20. The paired t-test showed a value of t = 9.452 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant difference before and after treatment. Meanwhile, the control group showed an insignificant difference with t = 1.247 and p = 0.219 because no treatment was given. The results of the unpaired t-test between the posttest of the experimental and control groups showed a significant difference (t = 5.986, p = 0.000). The effect size value (Cohen's d) of 1.56 is classified as strong, so it can be concluded that the modeling technique is effective in improving students' perceptions of guidance and counseling teachers.
