Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT Malea, sebuah perusahaan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) dengan tuntutan kerja yang intens. Pokok masalah berfokus pada elemen-elemen kunci yang membentuk kepuasan di lingkungan kerja tersebut. Landasan teori yang digunakan mencakup konsep kepuasan kerja, motivasi, etos kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan gaya kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja karyawan secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor utama, yaitu: motivasi kerja yang didorong kebutuhan hidup dan harapan penghargaan, etos kerja yang kuat, lingkungan kerja yang aman dan suportif, kompensasi yang adil, serta gaya kepemimpinan yang komunikatif dan menghargai. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Kerja, Motivasi Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Etos Kerja. ABSTRACT This research aims to identify and analyze the factors that affect the job satisfaction of employees at PT Malea, a Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) company with intense work demands. The main problem focuses on the key elements that constitute satisfaction within that work environment. The theoretical framework includes the concepts of job satisfaction, motivation, work ethic, work environment, and leadership style. This study employs a qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observation, and literature review. The findings indicate that employee job satisfaction is significantly influenced by several main factors: work motivation driven by life necessities and expectations of rewards, a strong work ethic, a safe and supportive work environment, fair compensation, and a communicative and appreciative leadership style.
