Abstract

Tesis ini bertopik “Strategi Optimalisasi Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter Pada Kurikulum PAK Acuan K'-13 Jenjang SMA di Lingkup Kecamatan Rantepao” yang bertitik tolak dari permasalahan bahwa seiring dengan perkembangan era globalisasi terjadi pergeseran nilai-nilai karakter yang bersifat negatif yang ditunjukkan melaliu tindakan radilkalime, korupsi, kekerasan, individualisme serta pergaulan tanpa batas. Kondis tersebut memicu gerakan pengembangan pendidikam karakter melalui kurikulum 2013., dalam konteks sekolah menengah atas di Kecamatan Rantepao teijadi kemorosotan nilai-nilai karakter yang ditunjukkan oleh indikator dekadenio moral yang meningkat, yakni; kasus dropout akibat pergaulan bebasa, judi, penyalahgunan narkoba yang meningkat dengan melibatkan anak sekolah, tawuran antar pelajar, geng yang meresahkan masyarakat banyak dan penyakit sosial lainnya yang melibatkan peserta didik/siswi. Pemasalahan tersebut menjadi barometer bahwa pendidikan karakter belum optimal diimplementasikan. Kajian permasalahan bertumpu pada question riset yaitu bagaimana strategi mengoptimalkan pendidikan karakter melalui K-13. Teori yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah teori kurikulum dan pendidikan karakter dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Temuan dari hasil penelitian adalah 1. Melalui integrasi nilai-nilai karakter melalui proses mata palajaran PAK. Pada pengintegrasian ini strategi yang relavan adalah pembelajaran kontekstual yang bertujuan membentuk perilaku aktif partisipatif serta kreatifitas peserta didik memahami, menganalisis, serta membiasakan diri menghidupi nilai-nilai karakter. 2. Melalui kegiatan ektrakokurikuler, yaitu dengan membina peserta didik untuk mengembangkan diri sesuai dengan potensi bakat dan minat peserta didik, dengan menekankan strategi atau pendekatan Student Center Approuch, yaitu memperhatikan dan mengembangkan potensi melalui wadah kegiatan spiritual, olahraga, osis. 3. Melalui kegiatan budaya sekolah, yaitu membentuk pembiasaan secara menyeluruh pada warga sekolah melalui kegiatan rutinitas, spontanitas dan keteladanan guru. Implikasi dari startegi ini secara khusus melalui proses pembelajatan PAK adalah peserta didik akan memiliki karakter yang kuat, yang diimplemetasikan dalam dan di luar kelas serta kehidupan sehari-hari dengan meneladani Yesus sebagai sosok yang berkarakter tinggi. ABSTRACT This thesis is focused on "Optimization Strategy for the Implementation of Character Education in the PAK Curriculum Reference K-13 of the High School Level in the Rantepao Subdistrict "which siaried from the issues of the alteration in character values into negative tum along side the development of the globalization era. therefore those has shown through radicalism, corruption, violence, individualism and promiscuity. These conditions triggered a movement to develop character education through the 2013 curriculum, in the context of high schools in Rantepao Subdistrict. There is a decline in character values as indicated by an increasing of moral decadence indicator, such as; Dropout cases due to promiscuity, gambling, drug abuse among students, brawls between students, gangs that unsettle the public and other social issues that involves students. These issues are a barometer that character education has not been optimally implemented. The study was concentrated on the research question of how to optimize character education through K-13 . The theory used in this study was the theory of curriculum and character education by using qualitative research methods. The findings of the research are 1. Through the integration of character values in the PAK subject process. In this integration a relevant strategy is contextual leaming that aims to shape active participatory behavior and creativity of students to understand, analyze, and get used to living character values. 2. Through extracurricular activities, by fostering students to develop themselves as their potential talents and interests, yet to emphasize the Student Center Approach strategy , that give more attention and help in developing potential through a positive activities, such as spiritual activities, sports, and student council. 3. Through school cultural activities, which establish overall habituation whitin school members through routine activities, spontaneity and teacher modeling. The implication of this strategy specifically through the PAK leaming process is that students will have a strong character, which is implemented in and outside the classroom and daily life by imulating Jesus as the one who posse the highest character.
