Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis diferensiasi gaya belajar siswa melalui metode Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran PAK kelas XI IPS-5 di SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif jenis fenomenologi. Informan dalam penelitian yaitu guru PAK dan siswa kelas XI IPS-5. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa Kelas XI IPS-5 terdiri dari 3 kategori gaya belajar, yaitu gaya belajar visual = 9 orang, audiotori =5 orang dan kinestetik =2 orang. Diferensiasi gaya belajar tersebut, harus dipenuhi guru dalam pembelajaran PAK. Salah satu langkah untuk memenuhi perbedaan gaya belajar siswa yaitu melalui metode Problem Based Learning. Hasil penerapan PBL menunjukkan bahwa PBL tidak hanya dapat mengakomodasi diferensiasi gaya belajar siswa tetapi siswa juga dapat mengetahui dan memahami dan menemukan solusi dari masalah yang dihadapi baik dalam pembelajaran maupun dalam kehidupan nyata. Kata Kunci: Gaya, Belajar; Problem, Based, Learning ABSTRACK This study aims to analyze the differentiation of students' learning styles through the Problem Based Learning method in PAK learning for class XI IPS-5 at SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja. This study uses a qualitative research approach of the phenomenological type. The informants in the study were PAK teachers and class XI IPS-5 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that class XI IPS-5 students consisted of 3 categories of learning styles, namely visual learning styles = 9 people, auditory = 5 people and kinesthetic = 2 people. The differentiation of learning styles must be met by teachers in PAK learning. One step to meet the differences in student learning styles is through the Problem Based Learning method. The results of the application of PBL show that PBL can not only accommodate the differentiation of student learning styles but students can also know and understand and find solutions to problems faced both in learning and in real life.
