Abstract

ABSTRAK OSMIANTY “Penerapan Metode Example Non-Example untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen Kelas VII A di SMPN 2 Makale”. Masalah penelitian ini didasarkan pada kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan metode example non-example dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran PAK kelas VII A di SMPN 2 Makale. Metode example non-example yaitu penyampaian materi dengan menggunakan media gambar pada saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kurt Lewin, melalui dua siklus. Adapun teori yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teori Miftahul Huda. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, di mana pada pra siklus memperoleh hasil 35% pada siklus I memperoleh hasil 59% dan siklus II memperoleh hasil 87% yang mengalami peningkatan pemahaman siswa sebesar 70% pada kategori baik. The problem of this research is based on students’ lack of understanding of learning. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the example non-example method in increasing students’ understanding of PAK class VII A subjects at SMPN 2 Makale. The example non-example method is the delivery of material using image media during learning. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the Kurt Lewin learning model, through two cycles. The theory used is Miftahul Huda’s theory. Data collection techniques are carried out throughobservation, documentation and data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of classroom action research were carried out in two cycles, where in the pre-cycle the results were 35% in the first cycle the results were 59% and in the second cycle the results were 87% which resulted in an increase in students’ understanding of 70% in the good category.
