Abstract

ABSTRAK Zheyla Padang Mangi, ketertiban dan partisipasi siswa kelas VIII A masih kurang pada saat berlangsungnya pembelajaran yaitu terdapat siswa yang malah mondar-mandir masuk dan keluar kelas, bercerita ketika guru sedang menjelaskan, belum mampu memberikan pendapat, menyalin ulang soal ketika mengerjakan tugas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menerapkan strategi manajemen kelas dengan maksud meningkatkan partisipasi dan ketertiban belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa di SMPN 4 Gandangbatu Sillanan. Metode penelitian yang dimanfaatkan yakni studi pustaka serta lapangan melalui observasi serta dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini hasilnya memperlihatkan jika strategi manajemen kelas dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan ketertiban belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen kelas VIII A di SMPN 4 Gandangbatu Sillanan. Hasil observasi pada siklus satu kategori sangat baik 4% baik 29% cukup 54% kurang 3% siklus dua mengalami peningkatan dimana sangat baik 50% dan baik 50%, dan di konfirmasi dengan nilai rata-rata UTS 63 sebelum tindak dan UAS 81 setelah dilaksanakan tindakan dengan peningkatan 18 poin. Kata Kunci : Manajemen Kelas, Partisipasi, Ketertiban ABSTRACT Zheyla Padang Mangi, order and participation of class VIII A students was still lacking during the learning process, namely there were students who were pacing in and out of the classroom, telling stories when the teacher was explaining, not being able to give an opinion, re-copying questions when doing assignments. The aim of this research is to implement classroom management strategies with the aim of increasing students’ participation and order in Christian Religious Education learning at SMPN 4 Gandangbatu Sillanan. The research methods used are library and field studies through observation and documentation. In this research, the results show that classroom management strategies can increase participation and order in Christian Religious Education class VIII A at SMPN 4 Gandangbatu Sillanan. Observation results in cycle one category were very good 4% good 29% fair 54% less 3% cycle two experienced an increase where very good 50% and good 50%, and confirmed with an average UTS score of 63 before the action and UAS 81 after it was carried out action with an increase of 18 points.
