Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta hasil belajar yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran siswa kelas V dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen melalui penerapan metode Think-Talk-Write. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas V UPT SDN 11 Mengkendek. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Think-Talk-Write mampu meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran siswa secara signifikan. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 34,4% pada pra-siklus menjadi 56,25% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 84,37% pada siklus II. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan bahwa metode Think-Talk-Write efektif dalam membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis, diskusi aktif, dan menulis terstruktur. Dengan demikian, metode Think-Talk-Write layak dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar siswa, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di sekolah dasar. ABSTRACT This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Christian Religious Education through the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) method. The background of this research stems from the low level of student engagement in the learning process and suboptimal academic performance, which had not met the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 11 Mengkendek. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results demonstrated that the Think-Talk-Write method significantly enhanced students’ learning achievements. Mastery learning increased from 34.4% in the pre-cycle to 56.25% in Cycle I and reached 84.37% in Cycle II. This improvement indicates that the Think-Talk-Write method is effective in fostering critical thinking skills, active discussion, and structured writing. Therefore, the Think-Talk-Write method is a viable alternative learning strategy to enhance the quality of student learning outcomes, particularly in Christian Religious Education at the elementary school level.
