Abstract
Selpiani, NIRM 1220207750 dengan judul “Peran Guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling Dalam Mengelola Bimbingan Kelompok Untuk Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Siswa Kelas XI di SMAN 3 Tana Toraja” di bawah bimbingan Bartholomius Budi, S.Pd,M.Th dan Yelinda Sri Silvia S.Th,M.Th. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI di SMAN 3 Tana Toraja yang ditandai dengan perilaku siswa yang tidak disiplin seperti, ada yang terlambat masuk kelas, tidak mengerjakan tugas sesuai petunjuk dan aturan yang telah diberikan guru, tidak menaati peraturan sekolah dengan membolos, tidak menggunakan atribut lengkap dari sekolah sesuai aturan, dan keluar kelas saat jam pelajaran berlangsung tanpa izin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menguraikan peran guru BK dalam mengelola bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI di SMAN 3 Tana Toraja. Layanan bimbingan kelompok merupakan suatu cara memberikan bantuan (bimbingan) kepada individu melalui kegiatan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui studi kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data yang digunakan yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, interprestasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru BK yaitu sebagai sahabat, sebagai pembimbing, sebagai kunci dari keseluruhan proses pendidikan, sebagai pengembangan potensi diri, dan sebagai pencegahan terhadap masalah. Guru BK telah melakukan perannya dalam membimbing siswa dengan menciptakan hubungan yang baik, nyaman dan tidak canggung serta memahami seluruh aspek kepribadian siswa saat melakukan layanan bimbingan kelompok, dengan 4 tahap layanan bimbingan kelompok yaitu: tahap pembentukan, tahap peralihan, tahap kegiatan, dan tahap pengakhiran. Setelah diterapkan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan topik kedisiplinan maka terjadi perubahan positif dalam tingkat pemahaman dan penerapan kedisiplinan siswa diketahui siswa mampu untuk mengikuti aturan, mematuhi jadwal pembelajaran, dan bertanggung jawab atas tugas sebagai seorang siswa. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru BK melalui arahan, teguran serta bimbingannya dalam melakukan layanan bimbingan kelompok dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. ABSTRACT Selpiani, NIM 1220207750 with the title "The Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Managing Group Guidance to Improve the Discipline of Class XI Students at SMAN 3 Tana Toraja" under the guidance of Bartholomius Budi, S.Pd, M.Th and Yelinda Sri Silvia S.Th, M.Th. This research was motivated by the low discipline of grade XI students at SMAN 3 Tana Toraja which was characterized by undisciplined student behavior such as, some were late for class, did not do assignments according to the instructions and rules that had been given by the teacher, did not obey school rules by skipping, did not use complete attributes from school according to the rules, and left the classroom during class hours without permission. This study aims to describe and describe the role of BK teachers in managing group guidance to improve the discipline of grade XI students at SMAN 3 Tana Toraja. Group guidance services are a way to provide assistance (guidance) to individuals through group activities to improve student discipline. The type of research used is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques are through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis procedures used are, data reduction, data presentation, interpretation, and conclusion drawn. Based on the results of the study, it is shown that the role of BK teachers is as a friend, as a guide, as the key to the entire educational process, as a development of self-potential, and as a prevention of problems. BK teachers have done their role in guiding students by creating good, comfortable and not awkward relationships and understanding all aspects of students' personalities when conducting group guidance services, with 4 stages of group guidance services, namely: formation stage, transition stage, activity stage, and termination stage. After the implementation of group guidance services with the topic of discipline, there was a positive change in the level of understanding and application of student discipline, it was known that students were able to follow the rules, comply with the learning schedule, and take responsibility for their tasks as a student. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role of BK teachers through their direction, reprimand and guidance in carrying out group guidance services can improve student discipline.
