Abstract
Yuliana Lepong. Analisis Integrasi karakter Mandiri Siswa dalam Mata Pelajaran PAK di Kelas VII SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara' Kecamatan Sesean Suloara' Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengintegrasian karakter mandiri siswa dalam mata pelajaran PAK di SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara'. Karakter mandiri merupakan sikap atau perilaku individu melakukan aktivitasnya sendiri tanpa harus bergantung pada orang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi untuk memperoleh informasi. Tempat penelitian di SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara' Kecamatan Sesean Suloara' Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Pengintegrasian karakter mandiri di SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara' telah diimplementasikan dengan baik namun Siswa di SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara' memahami karakter mandiri secara konseptual akan tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya jauh berbeda dengan apa yang siswa pahami sebagian siswa belum mandiri dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan dan masih mengharapkan jawaban dari orang lain, tidak sadar akan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang telah dipercayakan kepadanya dan mengabaikan kewajibannya dalam menjaga kebersihan kelas, serta kurangnya kedisiplinan dalam mengatur waktu. This study aims to describe the integration of students’ independent character in PAK subjects a t SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara’. Independent character is the attitude or behavior of individuals carrying out their own activities without having to depend on others. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and observations to obtain Information. The research site is at SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara’, Sesean Suloara’ District, North Toraja Regency. The integration of independent character at SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara' has been implemented weli but students at SMPN 1 Sesean Suloara' understand the independent character conceptually but in practice it is much different from what students understand, some students are not yet independent in doing the given task and still expect answers from other people, are not aware of the duties and responsibilities that have been entrusted to him and ignore his obligations in maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom, and lack of discipline in managing time.
