Abstract

Habel Paelongan menyusun sikripsi dengan judul “ETIKA PELAYANA GEREJAWI” dengan sub judul Studi Kasus Tentang pelayan gerejawai yang tinggal serumah tanpa ikatan pernikahan di gereja toraja jemaat randanan klasis mengkendek. Pemilihan topik ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengamatan penulis bahwa begitu pentinya kehadiran pelayan jemaat sebagai contoh dan teladan dalam berperilaku. Seperti yang tertulis dalam subjudul penelitian tentunya perilaku itu tidak mencerimkan sikap orang yang telah dipilih oleh Tuhan dan jemaat sebagai seorang pelayan. Penyebab dan tindakan gereja terhadap perilaku pelayan tersebut menjadi inti dalam penelitian ini. Dan untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan dalam penulisan ini, maka penulis melaksanakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif atau dengan cara obeservasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber. Dan narasumber tersebut kemudian disebut sebagai untuk memberikan data yang dibutuhkan Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian selama dilapangan mengenai apa penyebab dan tindakan gereja atas pelayan jemaat yang berperilaku menyimpang tersebut adalah keputusan dari pelayan jemaat itu sendiri, dan tindakan yang dilakukan oelh gereja itu sudah ada. Dan selain itu yang harus dilakukan oleh gereja adalah snantiasa memberikan pemahaman kepada para pelayan untuk senantiasa hidup memakani tugas dan tanggungjawabnya sebagi pelayan dan contoh dalam berperilaku. Habel Paelongan prepares this thesis with the title "Ethics of Church Services” with case study subtitles about church servants who live in the same house without marriage ties in the Toraja church. The choice of this topic was motivated by the writer’s observation that the importance of the attendance of church ministers as an example and example in behavior. As written in the research subtitles, of course the behavior does not reflect the attitude of the person who has been chosen by God and the congregation as a servant. The view of Christian ethics and the actions of the churches are the core of this research. And to obtain the data needed in this writing, the authors carry out research with a qualitative approach or by means of observation and interviews with several speakers. And the resource persons are then referred to as informants who provide the required data. Based on the data obtained during the field about what causes and actions of the church for the church servants who behave in deviant behavior is the decision of the minister of the congregation itself and the sense of solitude experienced by the servants of the congregation, and the actions taken by the church already existed namely the banning of giving Service, and not be nominated again in the next period. And besides that what must be done by the church is to always provide understanding to the servants to always live interpreting the duties and responsibilities as a model
