Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan berpendapat siswa kelas XI3 SMA Kristen Makale. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpendapat siswa kelas XI3 melalui penerapan bimbingan klasikal teknik brainstorming dengan menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling melalui II siklus. Subjek penelitian ialah 34 siswa kelas XI3. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Penerapan bimbingan klasikal teknik brainstorming dilakukan dengan penekanan pada jumlah ide, tidak adanya kritik dan pemberian dukungan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpendapat siswa. Pada siklus I terdapat peningkatan partisipasi siswa berpendapat, dari 8 siswa menjadi 10 siswa pada pertemuan 2 siklus I. Kemudian pada siklus II, terdapat 13 menjadi 16 siswa pada pertemuan 2. Keterlaksanaan layanan juga meningkat dari 66,25% siklus I menjadi 78,75% siklus II kategori baik. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan klasikal teknik brainstorming dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpendapat siswa kelas XI3 SMA Kristen Makale. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Klasikal, Brainstorming, Kemampuan Berpendapat Siswa ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low opinion ability of students in grade XI3 of Makale Christian High School. This research aims to improve the ability of students in class XI3 through the application of classical guidance of brainstorming techniques using the type of Guidance and Counseling Action Research through cycle II. The subjects of the study were 34 students of class XI3. Data were collected using observation sheets, field notes, and documentation, and then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The application of classical guidance of brainstorming techniques is carried out with an emphasis on the number of ideas, the absence of criticism and the provision of support to students. The results of the study showed an increase in students' ability to argue. In the first cycle, there was an increase in the participation of students in opinions, from 8 students to 10 students at the 2nd meeting of the first cycle. Service implementation also increased from 66.25% of the first cycle to 78.75% of the second cycle of the good category. So it is concluded that the application of classical guidance of brainstorming techniques can improve the ability of students in grade XI3 of Makale Christian High School.
