Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan humanistik dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling terhadap perilaku antisosial siswa boken home di SMP 2 Rantepao. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan penelitian terdiri atas guru bimbingan dan konseling serta siswa yang berasal dari keluarga broken home dan menunjukkan perilaku antisosial. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan humanistik dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu membangun hubungan yang hangat, empati, penerimaan tanpa syarat, dan pemberian kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan potensi dirinya. Pendekatan humanistik diterapkan melalui komunikasi yang terbuka, pemberian dukungan emosional, dan layanan konseling yang berpusat pada siswa. Implementasi pendekatan ini membantu siswa menjadi lebih terbuka, mampu mengelola emosi, meningkatkan interaksi sosial, serta mengurangi perilaku antisosial. Dengan demikian, pendekatan humanistik dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling efektif membantu siswa broken home dalam mengembangkan perilaku sosial yang lebih positif. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of the humanistic approach in guidance and counseling services toward the antisocial behavior of students from broken-home families at SMP 2 Rantepao. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The participants consisted of quidance and counseling teachers and students from broken-home families who exhibited antisocial behavior. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation oof the humanistic approach was implemented through warm relationships, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and opportunities for students become more open, manage their emotions better, improve social interactions, and reduce antisocial behavior. The humanistic approach was applied through open communication, emotional support, and student-centered counseling servieices. Therefore, the humanistic approach in guidance and counseling services is effective in helping broken-home students develop more positive social behavior.
