Abstract

Penelitian yang bertopik implementasi active learning sebagai strategi peningkatan partisipasi belajar peserta didik dalam Pembelajaran Agama Kristen Kelas III SDN 7 Rantetayo bertitik tolak dari rendahnya partisipasi belajar peserta didik. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan strategi active learning dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi active learning dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori active learning menurut Melvin L. Silberman yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik melalui berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam pembelajaran metode yang digunakan adalah PTK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi active learning melalui metode think pair share pada siklus I dan role playing pada siklus II dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik. Persentase partisipasi belajar meningkat dari 44,66% pada pra siklus menjadi 55,55% pada siklus I dan mencapai 75,54% pada siklus II. Sehingga, strategi active learning efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran agama Kristen. Kata kunci: Active, Learning, Strategi, Partisipasi, Belajar. ABSTRACT This study, entitled "The Implementation of Active Learning as a Strategy to Improve Students' Learning Participation in Christian Religious Education for Grade III Students at SDN 7 Rantetayo," was motivated by the low level of students' learning participation. The research problem addressed in this study was how active learning strategies are implemented in Christian Religious Education. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of active learning strategies in improving students' learning participation. This study employed the active learning theory proposed by Melvin L. Silberman, which emphasizes students' active involvement through direct participation in the learning process. The research method used was PTK. The findings showed that the implementation of active learning through the Think Pair Share method in Cycle I and the Role Playing method in Cycle II improved students' learning participation. The percentage increased from 44.66% in the pre-cycle to 55.55% in Cycle I and reached 75.54% in Cycle II. Therefore, active learning was effective in enhancing students' participation in Christian Religious Education learning. Keywords: Active, Learning, Strategy, Participation, Learning.
