Abstract

Kesulitan belajar merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sering dijumpai dalam dunia pendidikan dan menjadi tantangan serius bagi siswa maupun tenaga pendidik. Kesulitan ini dapat berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar dan munculnya perilaku yang menyimpang dari norma sekolah, seperti kurangnya motivasi, perilaku mengganggu di kelas, hingga membolos. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar. Dilakukan dengan siswa di kelas X SMK Kristen Tagari Rantepao. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil peneliti menunjukkan bahwa guru bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa mengatasi hambatan belajar melalui berbagai layanan, seperti konseling individu, konseling klasikal konseling kelompok, layanan informasi, mediasi, serta kerja sama dengan guru mata pelajaran dan wali kelas. Kata Kunci: Strategi, Guru BK, Kesulitan Belajar. ABSTRACT Learning difficulties are a common problem in education and pose a serious challenge for both students and educators. These difficulties can lead to poor learning outcomes and the emergence of deviant behaviors, such as lack of motivation, disruptive behavior in class, and truancy. This study aims to describe the strategies of guidance and counseling teachers in addressing learning difficulties. The study was conducted with students in grade X of Tagari Rantepao Christian Vocational School. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results indicate that guidance and counseling teachers play an important role in helping students overcome learning barriers through various services, such as individual counseling, classical counseling, group counseling, information services, mediation, and collaboration with subject teachers and homeroom teachers.
