Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran teori humanistik dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Kristen Tetang Ratte. Minat belajar merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis teori humanistik mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui pendekatan yang memusatkan perhatian terhadap perkembangan kepribadian dan motivasi siswa. Guru berperan tidak hanya sebagai pemberi materi, tetapi juga sebagai motivator dan pembangun komunikasi yang baik dengan siswa, sehingga proses belajar menjadi lebih efektif dan bersemangat. Keterlibatan aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran, seperti perhatian, ketertarikan, serta berbagi cerita terkait materi, turut mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan pendekatan humanistik mampu meningkatkan minat belajar dan keberhasilan peserta didik secara signifikan. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of humanistic theory in increasing the learning interest of fourth-grade students at SD Kristen Tetang Ratte. Learning interest is a crucial factor influencing the success of the learning process, particularly in Christian Education subjects. The results indicate that the application of humanistic theory enhances student interest through an approach focused on personality development and motivation. In this context, teachers serve not only as instructors but also as motivators and facilitators of effective communication, making the learning process more dynamic and efficient. Active student engagement—characterized by attention, curiosity, and sharing personal stories related to the material—further supports the achievement of learning objectives. Overall, the implementation of a humanistic approach significantly improves students' learning interest and academic success.
