Abstract
”Analisis Kepemimpin Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Peningkatan Peserta Didik di SMP Negeri 1 Lempe Pasang Satu Satap” Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan jumlah peserta didik. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengak teknik pengumppulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Ditemukan bahwa pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, perumusan visi dan misi pengembangan sekolah, serta kolaborasi antara kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Lempe Pasang Satap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai pendidik menunjukkan antusias yang tinggi dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas guru dan mutu pendidikan. Selain itu, peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer, administrator, supervisor, dan pemimpin telah dijalankan meskipun dalam praktiknya masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa. ABSTRACT "Analysis of School Principal's Leadership on the Increase of Students at SMP Negeri 1 Lempe Pasang Satu Atap" This research is motivated by the importance of the principal's leadership role in efforts to increase the number of students. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. It was found that the management of human resources, the formulation of the school's vision and mission, as well as collaboration between the principal, teachers, and parents still need to be improved.The purpose of this study is to analyze how the principal’s leadership contributes to the increase in student enrollment at SMP Negeri 1 Lempe Pasang Satu Atap. The results of the study show that the principal’s role as an educator is carried out with high enthusiasm, particularly in efforts to improve teacher quality and the overall standard of education. Furthermore, the roles of the principal as a manager, administrator, supervisor, and leader have been implemented, although in practice these areas still require further improvement.
