Abstract

Karya tulis ini berjudul “ Mengkritisi Implementasi Bimbingan Konseling Bagi Siswa yang Broken Home di SMPN 3 Buntao’ Satap Kabupaten Toraja Utara”. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh munculnya indikasi bahwa salah satu penyebab siswa sering bermasalah di sekolah adalah rendahnya kualitas pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling yaitu implementasi bimbingan konseling itu sendiri, yang terjadi saat ini. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa untuk mencapai tujuan suatu kegiatan perlu ada rencana atau program-program yang terencana yang dapat dipakai dalam pembinaan yang terarah sehingga pelaksanaan pembimbingan itu dapat berjalan secara optimal. Permasalahan tersebut dikaji dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara dan teknik analisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu tahap reduksi data, display data.conclucion. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi bimbingan konseling bagi siswa yang broken home di SMPN 3 Buntao’ Satap belum berjalan secara optimal dan efektif yaitu: 1) pembimbingan konseling tidak dilakukan dengan efektif yang ditunjukkan melalui tidak adanya program-program rencana dalam pencapaian yang realistis yang bersinergi dengan visi misi sekolah. 2) pelaksanaan bimbingan konseling belum optimal yang meliputi kepala sekolah tidak menentukan kebijakan yang tepat dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru, motivasi guru serta tidak ada pelatihan khusus, alokasi sumber daya manusia yang tidak sesuai kualifikasi bimbingan konseling dengan menetapkan guru-guru bantu yang bukan berkualifikasi dalam bidang bimbingan konseling. 3) evaluasi belum dilaksanakan dengan maksimal karena keterbatasan guru agama selaku kesiswaan juga pihak terkait dalam pemberian layanan pembimbingan yang tidak dilakukan secara kontinu. ABSTRACT This paper is entitled "Criticized Implementation of Counseling Guidance for Broken Home Students at SMPN 3 Buntao" Satap North Toraja Regency ". This study is motivated by the emergence of an indication that one of the reasons students often have problems at school is the low quality of counseling guidance Service provision, namely the implementation of counseling itself, which is happening now. It is undeniable that in order to achieve the goal of an activity there needs to be a planned plan or program that can be carried out in eamest based on the reference of certain norms to achieve optimal results. This problem is studied using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews and analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model, namely the stage of data reduction, data display, conclution. The results showed that the implementation of counseling guidance for broken home students at SMPN 3 Buntao 'Satap was not optimal and effective, namely: 1) counseling was not carried out effectively as indicated by the absence of planned programs to achieve synergistic realistic goals. with the vision and mission of the school. 2) the implementation of counseling guidance is not optimal, which includes the principal not determining the right policies in increasing teacher competence, teacher motivation and no special training, allocation of human resources that do not match the qualifications of counseling by assigning assistive teachers who are not qualified in the field counseling guidance. 3) evaluation has not been carried out optimally because of the limited servies of religious teachers as students as well as those involved providing guidance that is not carried out continuously.Keywords: Implementation, Counseling Guidance, Broken Home Students.
