Abstract

ABSTRAK Motivasi belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sangat penting untuk membantu siswa memahami materi. Akan tetapi siswa kelas XI.1 SMAN 3 Tana Toraja, menunjukkan motivasi belajar yang rendah dalam pembelajaran matematika. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI.1 SMAN 3 Tana Toraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu PTBK yang dikemukakan Arikunto yang terdiri dari 4 tahap tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan yang baik pada motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan hasil setiap indikator, yaitu Siklus I ketertarikan 58%, mengikuti 62%, berpartisipasi 54%, mengerjakan tugas 62% dan sudah meningkat ditandai dengan hasil setiap indikator yaitu siklus II Ketertarikan 90% mengikuti 93%, berpartisipasi 87%, mengerjakan tugas 84%. Dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai hambatan yang ada, kemudian memperbaiki pada pertemuan siklus selanjutnya. Dengan demikian motivasi belajar siswa dapat mencapai target dengan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik problem solving. Kata kunci: motivasi belajar siswa; layanan bimbingan kelompok,problem solving. ABSTRACT Student motivation in the learning process is very important to help students understand the material. However, class XI.1 students at SMAN 3 Tana Toraja showed low learning motivation in learning mathematics. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe the application of group guidance services using problem solving techniques to increase the learning motivation of class XI.1 students at SMAN 3 Tana Toraja. The research method used is PTBK proposed by Arikunto which consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this research indicate that there has been a good increase in student learning motivation. This is shown by the results of each indicator, namely Cycle I interest 58%, following 62%, participating 54%, doing assignments 62% and has increased as indicated by the results of each indicator, namely cycle II Interest 90% following 93%, participating 87%, doing assignments 84%. By considering various existing obstacles, then improve them at the next cycle meeting. In this way, students' learning motivation can achieve targets with group guidance services using problem solving techniques.
