Abstract
Perjamuan kudus mengandung makna persekutuan dalam Yesus Kristus untuk mengenang penyaliban, kematian dan kebangkitan-Nya. Sakramen perjamuan kudus membimbing orang percaya untuk melakukan intropeksi diri, orang percaya dibimbing untuk menyadari dosanya dan anugerah Allah yang besar. Pelaksanaan Perjamuan Kudus dalam Gereja Toraja Jemaat Balabatu. Klasis Buntao' dimana dalam jemaat tersebut ada satu keluarga yang tidak mau ikut dalam Perjamuan Kudus, disebabkan oleh suatu tindakan seperti bertengkar, tidak saling menghargai satu dengan yang lain. Yang mengakibatkan perpecahan dalam keluarga itu. Dari permasalahan itu keluarga memutuskan untuk tidak mengikuti perjamuan Kudus dalam jemaat. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perjamuan kudus menurut pandangan John Calvin dalam mendamaikan iman, dan pemaknaan Jemaat terhadap perjamuan kudus di Jemaat Balabatu Klasis Buntao', agar permasalahan yang terjadi dalam keluarga tidak terulang kembali. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis mengunakan jenis metode pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung berbagai sumber yaitu, buku referensi, wawancara, dan teknik analisis data, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui, dan memahami makna Perjamuan Kudus berdasarkan perspektif John Calvin bahwa setiap orang yang percaya kepada Tuhan dan wajib mengikuti Perjamuan Kudus sebagai wujud pendamaian iman. The Sacrament ofthe Holy Communion Guides believers to do self-introspection, to realize sin and to interpret God's great grace. In that congregation there was a family that did not participate in the Holy Communion because of quarrzuls and disrespect for each other. From this problem the family decided not to attend the Holy Communion in the congregation. This writing ainis to know how the Holy Communion is. According to John Calvin's view in reconcilingfaith, and the meaning of the Holy Communion in the Balabatu Congregation, Klasis Buntao', so that problems that occur in the family do not recur. In this writing, the author uses a type of cjualitative approach method supported by various sources, namely reference book, interview and data analysis techniques, which aims to know, and understand the meaning ofthe Holy Communion based on John Calvin's Perspective that everyone who believes in god and is obliged tofollow the Holy Communion as a From of reconciliation offaith
