Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kerja sama siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Makale dalam pembelajaran PAK, yang ditandai dengan siswa cenderung pasif, bergantung pada pintar dan komunikasi yang kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerja sama siswa dalam mata pembelajaran PAK melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan model Kemmis dan Mctaggart, yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan wawancara yang mengukur indikator kerja sama: berpartisipasi aktif, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, komunikasi efektif, saling membantu dan menghargai, serta tanggung jawab bersama . Kondisi awal kerja sama siswa sebelum menerapkan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament adalah sebesar 45%. Setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament, maka kerja sama siswa mengalami peningkatan. Dalam pelaksanaan siklus 1 diperoleh peningkatan sebesar 58%, dan pada siklus 2 meningkat sebesar 92%. Kata Kunci: Kerja Sama, Teams Games Tournament, Pendidikan Agama Kristen. ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low level of cooperation among Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Makale during Christian Religious Education (PAK) lessons—a situation characterized by student passivity, reliance on high-achieving peers, and ineffective communication. The study aimed to enhance student cooperation in PAK lessons through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model. It employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two cycles. Data collection involved observation sheets and interviews to measure cooperation indicators: active participation, the confidence to express opinions, effective communication, mutual assistance and respect, and shared responsibility. The initial level of student cooperation prior to implementing the TGT model was 45%. Following the implementation of the TGT model, student cooperation improved; the level rose to 58% in the first cycle and reached 92% in the second cycle.
