Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran role-playing dalam pembentukan karakter Kristiani siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di UPT SDN 2 Makale. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing melibatkan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode role-playing secara signifikan meningkatkan karakter Kristiani siswa, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, kasih terhadap sesama, disiplin, dan kerendahan hati. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa role-playing merupakan metode pembelajaran yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Kristiani secara aktif dan menyenangkan. Kata Kunci: Role-Playing, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Karakter Kristiani ABSTRACT His study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the role-playing learning method in shaping Christian character among fourth-grade students in the Christian Religious Education (PAK) subject at UPT SDN 2 Makale. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles with planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation, while data were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The findings reveal that the implementation of the role-playing method significantly enhances students' Christian character, such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation, love for others, discipline, and humility. These results suggest that role-playing is an effective, engaging method for internalizing Christian values in elementary education.
