Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas dalam membentuk disiplin siswa kelas V di UPT SDN 3 Sangalla’. Pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas adalah dasar pembentukan dan penerapan pendidikan karakter yang terjadi melalui interaksi langsung antara guru dan siswa yang menjadikan proses pembelajaran sebagai sarana dalam membentuk disiplin siswa, dimana guru berperan sebagai teladan dan fasilitator yang menanamkan nilai-nilai disiplin melalui aturan kelas, komunikasi yang baik, dan konsekuensi yang mendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas melalui kesepakatan kelas, pemberian teladan oleh guru, dan penguatan nilai-nilai disiplin dalam pembelajaran dapat membentuk disiplin siswa menjadi lebih baik. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze class-based character education in shaping the discipline of fifth grade students at UPT SDN 3 Sangalla’. Class-based character education is the basis for the formation and application of character education that occurs through direct interaction between teachers and students that makes the learning process a means of shaping student discipline, where teachers act as role models and facilitators who instill discipline values through class rules, good communication, and educational consequences. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of class-based character education through class agreements, providing examples by teachers, and strengthening discipline values in learning can shape student discipline to be better.
