Abstract

ABSTRAK Minat baca adalah suatu perhatian yang mendalam disertai dengan perasaan senang terhadap kegiatan membaca sehingga seseorang tertarik untuk membaca, dari masalah kurangnya minat baca Alkitab siswa ketika dalam proses pembelajaran saat guru memberikan kesempatan untuk membaca Alkitab ada siswa yang keluar masuk dan kurang fokus ketika melakukan kegiatan membaca Alkitab, sesuai indikator yang digunakan yaitu kesenangan, perhatian, keterlibatan dan ketertarikan maka minat baca Alkitab siswa kelas XI TKR 1 di SMKN 4 Tana Toraja masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match untuk meningkatkan minat baca Alkitab. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I, diperoleh minat baca Alkitab siswa pada kategori baik sebesar 42%. Pada siklus II, diperoleh minat baca Alkitab siswa pada kategori baik sebesar 92%. Sehingga penerapan model make a match dapat meningkatkan minat baca Alkitab siswa Kata kunci: Alkitab ,Make a Match, Minat Baca ABSTRACT Interest in reading is a deep attention accompanied by a feeling of enjoyment towards reading activities so that someone is interested in reading, from the problem of students' lack of interest in reading the Bible during the learning process when the teacher provides the opportunity to read the Bible there are students who come in and out and lack focus when carrying out reading activities. The Bible, according to the indicators used, namely enjoyment, attention, involvement and interest, interest in reading the Bible for class XI TKR 1 students at SMKN 4 Tana Toraja is still low. This research aims to find out how to apply the make a match type cooperative learning model to increase interest in reading the Bible. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The research results show that in cycle I, students' interest in reading the Bible was in the good category of 42%. In cycle II, students' interest in reading the Bible was in the good category of 92%. So that the application of the make a match model can increase students' interest in reading the Bible.
