Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komposisi musik tradisional Lelembau di Kelurahan Lakahang, Kecamatan Tabulahan, Kabupaten mamasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi , wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa musik Lelembau memainkan peran penting dalam kehidupan sosial dan budaya masyarakat setempat. Pelestarian musik ini didukung oleh komunitas yang aktif, keterlibatan generasi muda, serta inovasi teknik permainan musik. Program pelatihan dan acara budaya juga berperan dalam menjaga relevansi musik Lelembau. kesimpulan penelitian menekankan pentingnya dukungan pemerintah dan lembaga terkait, serta upaya penelitian lebih lanjut untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan musik Lelembau yang ada di Daerah Tabulahan, Kabupaten Mamasa. Kata kunci: Komposisi, Lelembau, Ma’tokabeng Abstract This study aims to analyze the composition of Lelembau traditional music in Lakahang Village, Tabulahan District, Mamasa Regency. The research methods used include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that Lelembau music plays an important role in the social and cultural life of the local community. The preservation of this music is supported by an active community, the involvement of the younger generation, and innovation in music game techniques. Training programs and cultural events also play a role in maintaining the relevance of Lelembau music. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the importance of government and related institutional support, as well as further research efforts to preserve and develop Lelembau music in the Tabulahan Area, Mamasa Regency.
