Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam pembelajaran kurangnya motivasi sering menjadi masalah yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran, seperti siswa kurang dilibatkan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran, rasa bosan dikarena pembelajaran terlalu pasif serta perbedaan sosial budaya antara guru dan siswa. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengaji bagaimana peran guru PAK dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pendekatan humanistik Carl Rogers kelas IV UPT SDN 15 Rembon. Pandangan carl rogers melihat pembelajaran bermakna yang terdiri dari aktualisasi diri pada proses pembelajaran dan melahirkan motivasi dalam belajar, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara dan didukung dengan studi pustaka. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah guru dalam menjalankan peran berdasarkan pendekatan humanistik Carl Rogers dalam dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa jika diterapkan secara maksimal. Guru PAK yang menerapkan prinsip-prinsip pendekatan ini dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan, kreatifitas dalam pembalajaran, sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran, memperbaiki hubungan interpersonal, dan meningkatkan pencapaian akademik. Kata kunci: Guru PAK, motivasi belajar, pendekatan humanistik, Carl Rogers, pendidikan dasar. ABSTRACT In learning, lack of motivation is often a problem that occurs in learning, such as students not being involved enough by teachers in learning, feeling bored because learning is too passive and socio-cultural differences between teachers and students. So the aim of this research is to examine the role of PAK teachers in increasing students' learning motivation through the humanistic approach of Carl Rogers class IV UPT SDN 15 Rembon. Carl Rogers' view sees meaningful learning as consisting of self-actualization in the learning process and generating motivation in learning. In this research, descriptive qualitative research was used by collecting data by observation and interviews and supported by literature study. The conclusion of this research is that teachers carry out roles based on Carl Rogers' humanistic approach in increasing student learning motivation if applied optimally. PAK teachers who apply the principles of this approach can help students develop creativity in learning, positive attitudes towards learning, improve interpersonal relationships, and increase academic achievement.
