Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis di kelas XI.2 UPT SMAN 2 Tana Toraja, bahwa kondisi awal ditemukan kurangnya keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAK kelas XI.2 UPT SMAN 2 Tana Toraja berjumlah 24 siswa. Dengan penerapan model cooperative learning tipe TS-TS yang tujuannya sejalan dengan teori Kurt Lewin, bahwa model ini membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe TS-TS untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI.2 pada mata pelajaran PAK di UPT SMAN 2 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, instrumen yang digunakan yaitu, lembar observasi dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe TS-TS, maka keaktifan belajar siswa dilihat dari beberapa siklus dimana diawali dari pra siklus belum berada pada kategori baik bahkan ditemukan 35% pada kategori kurang, sehingga diberikan suatu tindakan model two stay two stray diperoleh data siklus I keaktifan siswa sebesar 49,9% atau sebanyak 12 siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik dan sangat baik dan siklus II keaktifan siswa sebanyak 100% atau sebanyak 24 siswa kategori baik dan sangat baik. Keaktifan belajar siswa meningkat 50% pada siklus II. Kata kunci : Cooperative Learning, Two Stay Two Stray, Keaktifan Belajar ABSTRACT Based on the author's observations in class XI.2 of UPT SMAN 2 Tana Toraja, it was found that initially there was a lack of student engagement in the subject of PAK among 24 students. By implementing the TS-TS cooperative learning model, which aligns with Kurt Lewin's theory, the learning process became more engaging and effectively enhanced student engagement. This research aims to apply the TS-TS cooperative learning model to improve student engagement in class XI.2 for the PAK subject at UPT SMAN 2 Tana Toraja. This study utilized the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method conducted over 2 cycles. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation, using tools such as observation sheets and document analysis. The results showed that after implementing the TS-TS cooperative learning model, student engagement improved significantly over the cycles. Initially, during the pre-cycle, engagement was categorized as inadequate with 35% falling into the low category. After applying the two stay two stray model, Cycle I showed a 49.9% engagement rate, with 12 students classified as very good and excellent. By Cycle II, student engagement reached 100%, with all 24 students categorized as good and excellent. Overall, student engagement increased by 50% in Cycle II.
