Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the strategies used by Christian Religious Education teachers to enhance students' self-efficacy at Kandora Christian Junior High School, whose self-efficacy is relatively low, as indicated by passive attitudes when expressing opinions, reading the Bible, or leading prayers. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, interviews (teachers, principal, students), and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and triangulation testing. The results show that teacher strategies include: assigning tasks in stages with positive reinforcement, emotion management and verbal persuasion, habituating morning worship based on the exemplary role of Biblical figures, and implementing interactive learning through group discussions. Nevertheless, these efforts still face internal student challenges such as fear of making mistakes, shame, nervousness, and a tendency toward passivity. Keywords: Self-efficacy, Teacher Strategies, Christian Religious Education.
