Abstract
Kurangnya kedisiplinan belajar siswa di SDN 12 Buntu Pepasan. Toraja Utara, seperti terlambat hadir, tidak mematuhi aturan, dan kurang bertanggung jawab dalam mengerjakan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untu k melihat peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di SDN 12 Buntu Pepasan, Toraja Utara. Metode penelitiannya menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan uji keabsahan triangulasi. kajian teori berfokus pada peran guru, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, serta kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai pengajar, pendidik, pembimbing, motivator, teladan dan administrator dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Namun, dari ke enam peran tersebut, hanya dua peran guru yang paling dominan. Peran Guru tersebut dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di lingkungan sekolah seperti membiasakan hadir tepat waktu, membiasakan mematuhui setiap aturan yang ada, serta mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru secara bertanggung jawab dan konsisten. Dengan demikian, peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen berkotribusi secara efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa baik lingkungan sekolah maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. ABSTRACT Lack of student discipline at sdn 12 buntu pepasan, north toraja, is a problem, including late arrivals, failure to comply with rules, and a lack of responsibility in completing assignments. This study aims to examine the role of christian religious education teachers in improving student discipline at sdn 12 buntu pepasan, north toraja. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation validity testing. The theoretical study focuses on the role of teachers, christian religious education, and student discipline.the research results show that christian religious education teachers act as instructors, educators, mentors, motivators, role models, and administrators in improving student learning discipline. However, of these six roles, only two are the most dominant. These teacher roles can improve student discipline within the school environment, such as fostering punctuality, adhering to all rules, and completing assigned tasks responsibly and consistently. Thus, christian religious education teachers contribute effectively to improving student learning discipline both within the school environment and in Everyday life.
