Abstract

Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan klasikal teknik role playing terhadap keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menurut Fogg dan Devito. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan thitung -38,241 ttabel 2,080, berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t yang dikelola menggunakan SPSS 25 diperoleh thitung sebesar -38,241 sementara ttabel taraf signifikan 5% (0,05) sebesar 2,080 artinya thitung ttabel atau -38,241 2,080. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal sebelum dan sesudah pemberian teknik role playing pada siswa kelas VII.7 SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao. ABSTRACT The background of the problem in this study is the lack of interpersonal communication skills possessed by students. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of classical guidance of role playing techniques on interpersonal communication skills. The theory used in this research is according to Fogg and Devito. This research uses quantitative method with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The results of this study showed tcount -38.241 ttable 2.080, meaning that there was a significant difference before and after treatment. Based on the results of the t-test calculation managed using SPSS 25, the tcount is -38.241 while the ttable at a significant level of 5% (0.05) is 2.080, meaning that the tcount is ttable or -38.241 2.080. So it can be concluded that there are differences in interpersonal communication skills before and after the provision of role playing techniques in students of class VII.7 SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao.
