Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sebagian siswa yang memiliki kemampuan etika komunikasi verbal kurang etis dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi guru PAK dalam meningkatkan etika komunikasi verbal siswa V di UPT SDN 6 Makale. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif secara deskriptif, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengali informasi tentang strategi guru PAK dalam meningkatkan etika komunikasi verbal siswa kelas V di UPT SDN 6 Makale. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi serta wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap enam (6) informan. Sesudah data terkumpul lalu dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, menyajikan data serta interpretasi data atau disebut juga menarik kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan jika strategi dari guru PAK untuk meningkatkan etika komunikasi verbal siswa kelas V di UPT SDN 6 Makale, guru PAK menggunakan beragam strategi dalam meningkatkan etika komunikasi verbal siswa. Strategi yang digunakan yakni guru PAK menjadi teladan dalam berkomunikasi pada saat pembelajaran, guru PAK menerapkan komunikasi dua arah dalam pembelajaran, guru PAK mengajarkan etika berkomunikasi secara langsung dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai Alkitab. Namun, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi guru yakni masih ada siswa tidak terbiasa menggunakan bahasa yang sopan dalam berkomunikasi. Guru PAK perlu meningkatkan etika komunikasi dua arah dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini penting agar siswa terbiasa menggunakan bahasa yang sopan dan menghormati guru serta teman sekelas. Kata kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Guru PAK, Siswa. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by some students who have less ethical verbal communication skills in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy of PAK teachers in improving the verbal communication ethics of fifth grade students at UPT SDN 6 Makale. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method, which allows researchers to dig up information about the strategy of PAK teachers in improving the verbal communication ethics of fifth grade students at UPT SDN 6 Makale. In this study, data collection was carried out using observation techniques and interviews conducted with six (6) informants. After the data was collected, it was analyzed through the data reduction stage, presenting data and interpreting data or also called drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study shows that the strategy of PAK teachers to improve the verbal communication ethics of fifth grade students at UPT SDN 6 Makale, PAK teachers use various strategies in improving students' verbal communication ethics. The strategies used are PAK teachers being role models in communicating during learning, PAK teachers implementing two-way communication in learning, PAK teachers teaching direct communication ethics and teaching Biblical values. However, there are still challenges faced by teachers, namely that there are still students who are not used to using polite language in communicating. PAK teachers need to improve the ethics of two-way communication in learning. This is important so that students get used to using polite language and respecting teachers and classmates.
