Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran lagu rohani anak dalam menunjang perkembangan nilai religius anak usia dini di lingkungan Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Imanuel Tapalang, sebuah jemaat yang berada di tengah masyarakat mayoritas non-Kristen. Di lingkungan ini, anak-anak tidak mendapatkan pendidikan agama Kristen di sekolah, sehingga pembinaan iman hanya terjadi melalui kegiatan ibadah sekolah minggu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami sejauh mana lagu rohani anak dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai religius pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini didasari oleh teori nilai religius yang mencakup aspek kejujuran, kedisiplinan, sikap hormat, tanggung jawab, rasa syukur, dan empati. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Tehnik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu rohani memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk nilai-nilai religius anak. Anak-anak menunjukkan antusiasme dalam mengikuti ibadah, mulai memahami isi lagu, dan mengalami perubahan sikap, seperti berdoa dan menunjukkan tanggung jawab. Lagu rohani anak menjadi sarana efektif untuk membentuk sikap disiplin, rasa syukur, sikap hormat serta membangun hubungan spiritual anak dengan Tuhan. ABSTRACT This research examines the role of children's spiritual songs in supporting the development of early childhood religious values in the Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Imanuel Tapalang Church, a congregation in the middle of the Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Imanuel Tapalang, a congregation in the middle of a non-Christian majority community. In this environment, children do not get Christian religious education at school, so faith formation only occurs through Sunday school worship activities. The purpose of this research is to understand the extent to which children's spiritual songs can be an effective tool in effective in instilling religious values in early childhood. Research This research is based on the theory of religious values which includes aspects of honesty, discipline, respect, responsibility, gratitude, and empathy. The method method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Techniques data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research results results show that spiritual songs have a significant role in shaping children's religious values. children's religious values. Children show enthusiasm in participating in worship, began to understand the content of the song, and experienced attitude changes, such as praying and showing responsibility. Children's spiritual songs are an effective means to discipline, gratitude, respect and build children's spiritual relationship with God.
