Abstract
Konteks pelayanan gereja Jemaat Moria Ulusalu menghadapi tantangan partisipasi jemaat yang rendah serta minimnya program pengembangan rohani berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan model Servant Leadership oleh pemimpin gereja dan pengaruhnya terhadap efektivitas pelayanan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi data di lapangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin gereja secara konsisten menerapkan prinsip Servant Leadership (misalnya kunjungan rumah, konseling keluarga, dan mendengarkan aspirasi jemaat). Pola pelayanan inklusif ini menekankan empati, kerendahan hati, dan pemberdayaan, sehingga jemaat merasa lebih dihargai. Hal ini tercermin pada peningkatan fasilitas ibadah, pelaksanaan sesi diskusi kelompok, serta tumbuhnya kebersamaan dalam ibadah. Selain itu, penerapan Servant Leadership meningkatkan kepercayaan dan partisipasi jemaat (sekitar 40% aktif terlibat) sehingga kualitas dan efektivitas pelayanan gereja meningkat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan yang melayani efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan gereja dan partisipasi jemaat. ABSTRACT In the context of church ministry at Jemaat Moria Ulusalu, congregational participation is low and ongoing spiritual development programs are lacking. This study aims to analyze the application of the Servant Leadership model by church leaders and its effect on service effectiveness. A qualitative approach was used, involving interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings show that the church leader consistently applies Servant Leadership principles (e.g., home visits, family counseling, and listening to congregant aspirations). This inclusive approach, emphasizing empathy, humility, and empowerment, makes congregants feel more valued. This is reflected in improvements to worship facilities, added group discussion sessions, and increased unity in worship. Furthermore, the Servant Leadership approach increases trust and congregational participation (about 40% actively involved), resulting in enhanced service quality. These findings underscore that a servant-oriented leadership model is effective in improving church service quality and member participation.
