Abstract
Aimme Reskita (3020218492), menyusun skripsi ini dengan judul “Strategi Penerapan Servant Leadership bagi Motivasi Pelayanan Majelis Gereja di Jemaat Tikala”. (Dibimbing oleh Bapak Roby Marrung, M.Th dan Ibu Sriyati Rahayu Pabebang, M.M). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi pelayanan majelis gereja di Jemaat Tikala yang memerlukan peningkatan agar pelayanan dapat berjalan lebih. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi penerapan servant leadership sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi pelayanan majelis gereja tersebut. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep servant leadership menekankan pelayanan kepada orang lain yang menjadi utama. Dikatakan berhasil apabila mampu menerapkan karakteristik mendengarkan, empati, penyembuhan, kesadaran, persuasi, konseptualisasi, pandangan ke depan, penatalayanan, komitmen terhadap pertumbuhan individu, serta membangun komunitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi deskriptif untuk menggambarkan bagaimana penerapan karakteristik servant leadership berkontribusi dalam memotivasi pelayanan majelis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan servant leadership belum diterapkan secara maksimal. Karakteristik servant leadership perlu bersinergis untuk memperkuat karakteristik satu dengan yang lain. Kata kunci : Strategi, Servant Leadership, Motivasi Pelayanan, Majelis Gereja. ABSTRACT Aimme Reskita (3020218492), compiled this thesis with the title “Strategy for Implementing Servant Leadership for Motivating Church Council Service in the Tikala Congregation”. (Supervised by Mr. Roby Marrung, M.Th and Mrs. Sriyanti Rahayu Pabebang, M.M). This research is motivated by the low service motivation of the church council in Tikala Congregation which requires improvement so that the service can run better. Therefore, this study aims to examine the strategy of implementing servant leadership as an effort to increase the service motivation of the church council. The theoretical basis used in this study is the concept of servant leadership emphasizing service to others as the main thing. It is said to be successful if it is able to apply the characteristics of listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, commitment to individual growth, and building a community. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive study to describe how the application of servant leadership characteristics contributes to motivating the service of the council. The results of the study indicate that the application of servant leadership has not been implemented optimally. Servant leadership characteristics need to synergize to strengthen one characteristic with another. Keywords : Strategy, Servant Leadership, Service Motivation, Church Council.
