Abstract

BUA LA’BI’ (2020186212) Kajian Teologi Kontekstual Ma’ Sumengo’ dalam Upacara Rambu Solo’ di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Maranatha Sendana. Ma’ sumengo’ merupakan suatu konsep teologi yang berusaha untuk mengintekrasikan nilai-nilai adat dan budaya Toraja dengan ajaran kristen dengan mempertimbangkan konteks lokal dalam praktik keagamaan. Teologi hadir dan dikembangkan di tengah kebudayaan dan kehidupan masyarakat dan bahkan kitab suci sendiri tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kebudayaan. Jadi upacara rambu solo’ sebagai salah satu upacara adat yang sangat penting dalam masyarakat Toraja, makna upacara ma’ sumengo’ dalam upacara rambu solo’ di gereja Toraja Jemaat Maranatha Sendana bersifat menghibur bagi keluarga yang berdukacita dan upacara ini menandakan pengakhiran perjalanan jiwa almarhum menujuh kehidupan selanjutnya. Upacara ma’ sumengo’ menunjukkan penghormatan yang mendalam kepada almarhum. Dan memastikan bahwa jiwa almarhum dapat beristrahat dengan tenang didunia akhir. Kata kunci : Interaksi antara Gereja dan adat . ABSTRACT BUA LA’BI’(2020186212)This research ains to understand the contextual study of Ma’ Sumengo’culturein the Rambu Solo’ ceremony at the Toraja church Maranatha sendana congregation. Ma’ sumengo’ is a theological concept intendedto integrate Toraja’s traditional valuesand culture with chistian teachings by considering the local contex in religious practices. Theology is present and developed in the midst of cultureand comunitylife,and even the scrptures cannot be separated from culture. Therefore, the rambu solo’ ceremony, being one of the most imfortant traditional ceremonies in Toraja society, ensures that the ma’ sumengo’ ceremony in the rambu solo’ ceremony at the Toraja church Maranatha sendana congregation provides restoration for grieving families the ma’ sumengo’ ceremony shows deep respect for the desceased and ensures that the deceased’s soul can rest peacefullyin the afterlife.
