Abstract
Desi Sesa, 1220207332, Tahun 2024 berjudul “Analisis Layanan Konseling Individu Dalam Mengatasi Masalah Kedisiplinan Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao”. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kedisiplinan siswa dalam belajar di SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao, secara khusus di kelas VIII. Sesuai dengan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan bersama dengan guru BK yang mengatakan bahwa siswa berperilaku kurang disiplin itu disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yanki: faktor internal yang berasal dari diri siswa sendiri dan faktor eksternal yang berasal dari lingkungan keluarga dan Masyarakat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaiamana pelaksanaan layanan konseling individu dalam mengatasi masalah kedisiplinan belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao. Layanan konseling individu merupakan cara guru BK dalam membantu siswa menyelesaikan masalahnya, maka dari itu guru BK melakukan layanan konseling individu melalui tiga tahapan yakni: tahapan pembukaan, tahapan inti dan tahapan penutup. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan layanan konseling individu dalam mengatasi masalah kedsiplinan belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao berhasil dilaksanakan. ABSTRACT Desi Sesa, 1220207332, Year 2024, titled “Analysis of Individual Counseling Services in Overcoming Learning Discipline Problems of 8th Grade Students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao.” This research is motivated by the lack of student discipline in learning at SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao, specifically in grade VIII. Based on observations and interviews conducted with the school counselor (BK teacher), it was found that students’ lack of discipline is caused by several factors, namely: internal factors originating from the students themselves and external factors from their family and community environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the implementation of individual counseling services addresses learning discipline problems of students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao. Individual counseling services are a way for the BK teacher to help students resolve their issues. Therefore, the BK teacher conducts individual counseling through three stages: the opening stage, the core stage, and the closing stage. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods in this study were conducted through observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of individual counseling services in overcoming the learning discipline problems of 8th grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantepao was successfully carried out.
