Abstract

Sekolah di bawah pohon adalah salah satu startegi yang dibuat oleh Dinas Pendidikan dari program pemerintah daerah kabupaten Tana Toraja, yakni "Jangan biarkan rakyatku bodoh Program ini merupakan program yang dicanangkan untuk mencerdaskan anak-anak di Tana Toraja, dan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Dalam pelaksanaan suatu pendidikan baik itu pendidikan formal, nonformal dan informal, pada dasarnya memiliki kurikulum. Kurikulum mengatur program pendidikan, oleh karena itu bagi sekolah di bawah pohon, sekalipun bersifat nonformal, juga memerlukan adanya suatu kurikulum sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikannya. Adapun kurikulum yang dilaksanakan sekarang dianggap tidak lagi relevan dengan sekolah di bawah pohon Tosik karena tidak memenuhi kebutuhan dalam konteks Simbuang. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya gagasan baru dalam pengembangan kurikulum, misalnya penggabungan antara dua model pendekatan yaitu pemerintah, dimana pemerintah disatu sisi memberikan kontibusi terhadap pendidikan, dan guru mengembangkan pembelajaran berdasarkan konteksnya. Kata kunci: Sekolah di bawah pohon, nonformal, kurikulum. ABSTRACT School under the tree is one of the strategies made by the Education Office from the Tana Toraja district government program, namely "Don't let my people be stupid". This program is a program that is planned to educate children in Tana Toraja, and to continue their education to a higher level In implementing an education, both formal, non-formal and informal education basically has a curriculum. The curriculum regulates educational programs, therefore for schools under the tree, even if it is non-formal, it also requires the existence of a curriculum so that it can achieve its educational goals. The curriculum implemented now is considered no longer relevant to the school under the Tosik tree because it does not meet the needs in the Simbuang context. Therefore there is a need for new ideas in curriculum development, for example the combination of two models of approaches namely government, where the government on the one hand contributes to education, and the teacher develops context-based learning.
