Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesetaraan gender yang kemudian berimplikasi pada Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Kesetaraan gender berarti bahwa kondisi di mana laki-laki dan perempuan memperoleh kesempatan yang sama agar mampu berperan aktif dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen sudah memiliki pengetahuan tentang konsep kesetaraan gender akan tetapi pada prakteknya masih sering terjadi pelabelan pada laki-laki terkhusus dalam pemilihan jurusan. Siswa seringkali diberikan stigma negatif ketika memilih jurusan yang tidak sesuai dengan jenis kelamin yang mereka miliki. Hal ini terjadi karena melihat kondisi fisik dari siswa tersebut akan tetapi hal ini sangat keliru karena belum tentu siswa perempuan tidak bisa memilih jurusan yang pekerjaannya di lapangan. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan konsep yang sudah lama terpola sehingga menjadi kebiasaan yang sebenarnya tidak baik. Kata Kunci : Kesetaraan, gender, pelabelan. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine gender equality which then has implications for Christian religious education teachers. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach means that conditions where men and women have equal opportunities to be able to play an active role in various aspects of life. The results of this research show that Christian religious education teachers already have good knowledge of the concept of gender equality, but in practice labeling still often occurs. especially for men in choosing a major. Students are often given a negative stigma when choosing a major that is not in accordance with their gender. This happens because they look at the physical condition of the student, but this is very wrong because it is not certain that female students cannot choose. majors whose work is in the field. This happens because the concept has been patterned for a long time so that it has become a habit that is actually not good. Keywords: Equality, gender, labeling.
