Abstract

ABSTRAK Penulis menyusun skripsi dengan judul “Kajian Teologis Terhadap Perilaku Fear Of Missing Out (FoMO) Pada Remaja di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Pangkali”. Dibawah bimbingan bapak Oktoviandy, M.Si. dan bapak Zefanya Sambira, M.Pd. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan jenis metode ilmiah dan ilmu pengetahuan. Penulis juga menggunakan penelitian lapangan melalui obsevasi dan wawancara. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penulisan ini, untuk menguraikan kajian Teoligis terhadap perilaku FoMO di gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Pangkali. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remaja di Pangkali merasa kuatir ketika tidak mengakses media sosial dan tidak mengikuti trend yang ada. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa remaja di Pangkali mengalami FoMO yang mengakibatkan para remaja mengalami perasaan kuatir. Secara Teologis kekuatiran yang ditunjunjukkan oleh para remaja hal tersebut merupakan hal yang tidak dikehendaki oleh Allah. Kekutiran dapat membawa kehidupan mereka untuk meragukan kuasa Allah dan tidak lagi berpengharapan kepada Allah. Pada akhir tulisan ini penulis berharap setiap pembaca mampu bersyukur dan tidak kuatir tentang hal-hal duniawi. Kata Kunci: Fear OF Missing Out, Kuatir, Remaja, Hendphone, Media Sosial. ABSTRACT The author wrote a thesis with the title "Theological Study of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) Behavior in Adolescents in the Toraja Mamasa Pangkali Congregation Church." Under the guidance of Mr. Oktoviandy, M.Si. and Mr. Zefanya Sambira, M.Pd. This writing uses descriptive qualitative research methods using scientific and scientific methods. The author also uses field research through observations and interviews. The aim of this writing is to outline a theological study of FoMO behavior in the Toraja Mamasa Pangkali Congregation church. The results of this research show that teenagers in Pangkali feel worried when they don't access social media and don't follow existing trends. So it can be concluded that teenagers in Pangkali experience FoMO which causes teenagers to experience feelings of worry. Theologically, the anxiety shown by teenagers is something that is not desired by God. Worry can lead their lives to doubt God's power and no longer have hope in God. At the end of this article, the author hopes that every reader will be able to be grateful and not worry about worldly things.
