Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok teknik cinema education terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 14 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan konseling kelompok teknik cinema education sebanyak lima kali pertemuan, sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner motivasi belajar. Analisis data inferensial diuji menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,018, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulannya, layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik cinema education berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of group counseling services using the cinema education technique on the learning motivation of students at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. The research method employed was a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 14 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received treatment in the form of group counseling services with the cinema education technique for five sessions, while the control group received no treatment. Data collection used a learning motivation questionnaire instrument. Inferential data analysis was tested using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) significance value of 0.018, which is less than 0.05, thereby rejecting H0 and accepting HI. In conclusion, group counseling services utilizing the cinema education technique have a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja.
