Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VI pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di UPT SD Negeri 10 Makale. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas VI. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Quantum Learning yang dikemukakan oleh Bobbie DePorter dan Mike Hernacki, yang menekankan pembelajaran berdasarkan cara kerja otak manusia, pengelolaan lingkungan belajar yang positif, serta pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, serta teori motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning melalui langkah-langkah TANDUR (Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi, dan Rayakan) mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, yang terlihat dari meningkatnya keaktifan, perhatian, dan antusiasme siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun demikian, penerapan model ini masih menghadapi beberapa hambatan, seperti keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, kondisi kelas, serta perbedaan karakter siswa. Oleh karena itu, Quantum Learning efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa apabila diterapkan secara terencana dan konsisten. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the application of the Quantum Learning model and identify factors that influence the increase in learning motivation of sixth-grade students in the subject of Christian Religious Education at the UPT SD Negeri 10 Makale. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with the research subjects being teachers and sixth-grade students. The theoretical basis used in this study is the Quantum Learning theory proposed by Bobbie DePorter and Mike Hernacki, which emphasizes learning based on how the human brain works, managing a positive learning environment, and meaningful learning experiences, as well as the theory of student learning motivation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Quantum Learning model through the following steps TANDUR (Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, and Celebrate) can increase student learning motivation, as evidenced by increased student engagement, attention, and enthusiasm during the learning process. However, the implementation of this model still faces several obstacles, such as limited learning time, classroom conditions, and differences in student characteristics. Therefore, Quantum Learning is effective in increasing student learning motivation when implemented in a planned and consistent manner.
