Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola emosi yang masih kurang, terlihat dari perilaku agresif, cemberut saat pembelajaran, kurang percaya diri, dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan model experiential learning dalam bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengelola emosi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian model experiential learning menunjukkan hasil penelitian pada pra siklus, rata-rata kelompok kemampuan mencapai 31,25% dengan kategori kurang. Siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 56,75% dengan kategori cukup. Siklus 2 mencapai 73,25% dengan kategori baik, dan siklus 3 meningkat hingga 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulannya, model experiential learning dalam bimbingan kelompok terbukti sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengelola emosi siswa kelas XI.1 SMA Kristen Makale. Kata kunci: Experiential Learning, Bimbingan, Mengelola Emosi. ABSTRACK This research is motivated by the problem of students' ability to manage emotions which is still lacking, seen from aggressive behavior, frowning during learning, lack of confidence, and difficulty concentrating. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of the experiential learning model in group guidance to improve students' ability to manage emotions. The method used is classroom action research with observation and documentation data collection techniques. The research on the experiential learning model shows that in the pre-cycle, the average ability group reached 31.25% with the poor category. Cycle 1 increased to 56.75% with the sufficient category. Cycle 2 reached 73.25% with the good category, and cycle 3 increased to 88% with the very good category. In conclusion, the experiential learning model in group guidance has proven to be very effective in improving the ability to manage emotions of class XI.1 students of Makale Christian High School.
