Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kecerdasan emosional pada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan permainan puzzle untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional pada anak kelas b6 di tk kristen rantepao. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 anak kelas B6 TK Kristen Rantepao. Setelah dilakukan analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan permainan puzzle dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional anak. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada pra-siklus menunjukkan kecerdasan emosional anak pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan hanya dicapai 36,36% atau 8 anak dari 22 anak, pada siklus I 64,71% atau 11 dari 17 anak telah mencapai kategori berkembang sesuai harapan, dan pada siklus II 81,82% atau 18 anak telah mencapai kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Sehingga mencapai target 75% anak mengalami peningkatan kecerdasan emosional dengan kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Puzzle, Anak Usia Dini Abstract This research is motivated by low emotional intelligence in children. The purpose of this study is to find out the application of puzzle games to develop emotional intelligence in grade b6 children in Rantepao Christian Kindergarten. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method for two cycles. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The subjects of this study are 22 students in class B6 of Rantepao Christian Kindergarten. After data analysis, the results of the study showed that the application of puzzle games can develop children's emotional intelligence. Based on the results of observations carried out in the pre-cycle, it showed that the emotional intelligence of children in the category of developing according to expectations was only achieved by 36.36% or 8 children out of 22 children, in the first cycle 64.71% or 11 out of 17 children had reached the development category as expected, and in the second cycle 81.82% or 18 children had reached the category of developing according to expectations. So that it reaches the target of 75% of children experiencing an increase in emotional intelligence with the category of developing according to expectations.
