Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan ranah kognitif siswa dalam materi Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di kelas XI RPL SMK Kristen Makale. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen murni atau true experimental design dengan model pendekatan pretest-posttest control group design. Desain ini membantu peneliti dalam membandingkan hasil antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol sebelum diberi perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan diberikan untuk menguji efektivitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode discovery learning yang dilakukan di SMK Kristen Makale mengenai pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan ranah kognitif siswa kelas XI dengan menggunakan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen diperoleh hasil nilai signifikan kelas eksprimen sebesar 0,000 pada pretest dan postest yang artinya lebih kecil dari α 0,05 sedangkan nilai sig kelas kontrol mendapat nilai 0,066 pada pretest dan 0,196 pada postest yang berarti lebih besar dari α 0,05, Maka disimpulkan Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga demikian terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning terhanap kemampuan ranah kognitif siswa pada Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di SMK Kristen Makale. Kata Kunci: Metode, Discovery Learning, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Kognitif, Siswa ABSTRACT This study was conducted to analyze the effect of discovery learning method on students' cognitive abilities in Christian Religious Education (PAK) material in class XI RPL SMK Kristen Makale. This study uses a pure experimental quantitative method or true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design approach model. This design helps researchers compare the results between the experimental and control groups before and after treatment is given to test its effectiveness. The results of the study indicate that the use of the discovery learning method carried out at SMK Kristen Makale regarding the effect on improving the cognitive abilities of class XI students using the control and experimental classes obtained a significant value of the experimental class of 0.000 in the pretest and posttest which means less than α 0.05 while the sig value of the control class got a value of 0.066 in the pretest and 0.196 in the posttest which means greater than α 0.05, So it is concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So that there is an influence of the discovery learning method on students' cognitive abilities in Christian Religious Education (PAK) at SMK Kristen Makale.
