Abstract

Tindakan bullying yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah khususnya di UPT SMPN 1 Rantetayo masih sering terjadi salah satunya yaitu bullying fisik, verbal, dan nonverbal. Dalam situasi ini, guru PAK diharapkan dapat berperan sebagai agen pembentuk karakter yang dilandasi oleh nilai-nilai Kristiani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru PAK dalam menangani perilaku bullying berdasarkan nilai-nilai Kristiani. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Ada sembilan sumber informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru PAK dan siswa. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa guru PAK menjalankan empat peran utama, yaitu sebagai pendidik nilai-nilai Kristiani, mediator konflik, pembimbing rohani, dan teladan hidup Kristiani. Peran-peran tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peran guru PAK memiliki kontribusi yang penting dalam menangani bullying dengan pendekatan Kristiani, yang terbukti mampu membentuk karakter siswa serta menciptakan suasana sekolah yang aman dan penuh kedamaian. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Bullying, Peran Guru. ABSTRACT Bullying that occurs in the school environment, especially in UPT SMPN 1 Rantetayo, still often occurs, one of which is physical, verbal, and nonverbal bullying. In this situation, PAK teachers are expected to play a role a role as character-forming agents based on Christian values. This study aims to examine the role oa PAK teachers in handling bullying behavior based on Christian values. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and documentation. There are nine sources of informants in this study, namely, PAK teachers and students. The research findings reveal that PAK teachers carry out four main roles, namely as educators of Christian values, conflict mediators, spiritual guides, and Christian life role models. These roles indicate that the role of PAK teachers has important contribution in handling bullying with a Christian approach, which has been proven to be able to shape students’ character and create a safe and peaceful school atmosphere.
