Abstract
Rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di kelas IV UPT SDN 6 Mengkendek menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Minat belajar yang rendah ditunjukkan melalui kurangnya perasaan senang, keterlibatan, ketertarikan, dan perhatian siswa saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAK melalui penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis vide. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi minat belajar, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan jika penerapan media video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa secara signifikan. Pada pra-siklus, 8% siswa menunjukkan minat belajar tinggi, kemudian meningkat menjadi 15% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 80% pada siklus II. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan media video sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran PAK. ABSTRACK The low learning interest of students in the Christian Religious Education subject in Grade IV of UPT SDN 6 Mengkendek became the main focus of this study. The low level of interest was shown through the lack of enjoyment, engagement, curiosity, and attention from students during the learning process. This research aims to increase students’ interest in learning Christian Religious Education by implementing video-based learning media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis & Taggart model, carried out in two cycles consisting of the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection instruments included learning interest observation sheets, documentation, and field notes. The results showed that the use of video learning media significantly increased students’ learning interest. In the pre-cycle, only 8% of students showed high learning interest, which increased to 15% in Cycle I and reached 80% in Cycle II. This study recommends the use of video media as an alternative to improve the quality of the learning process, especially in Christian Religious Education subjects.
