Abstract
Alfianus Karoma 20020197 dengan Judul Tesis: "PROFESIONALITAS GURU PAK: Kajian Teologis Praktis tentang Panggilan Guru PAK dalam Melaksanakan Proses Belajar Mengajar di SMK se Kecamatan Mengkendek". Penelitian ini menyoroti panggilan profesionalitas guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) saat melakukan kewajibannya di sekolah yang terus mengembangkan profesionalitasnya dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar di sekolah setiap hari. Tidak dapat disangkal bahwa masih ada sebagian besar guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) belum menunjukkan panggilan sebagai pendidik yang mengutamakan kepentingan pribadinya di atas kepentingan umum, khususnya dalam pendidikan dengan kata lain tingkat keprofesionalitasnya masih rendah. Sesuai dengan uraian masalah di atas, maka timbul ketertarikan peneliti untuk mengkaji bagaimana guru PAK memahami panggilannya pada proses belajar mengajar sebagai bentuk perwujudan profesionalitas. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang didukung teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara observasi dan studi pustaka sehingga data dari penelitian diharapkan valid dengan perolehan data dari para informan terpercaya. Sesuai hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa seorang guru PAK yang memiliki kompetensi dan kesiapan yang kuat dalam aspek kepribadian, sosial dan spiritual, dinilai sebagai seorang yang profesional dalam melaksanakan tugasnya di SMK pada Kecamatan Mengkendek. Penerapan dari masing-masing kompetensi antara lain: memperlihatkan kepedulian terhadap siswa dan memberikan dukungan moral serta spiritual kepada mereka sesuai dengan ajaran agama Kristen (kompetensi spiritual), membentuk hubungan yang positif dengan siswa, sesama guru PAK, dan guru non-PAK untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan bagi siswa (kompetensi sosial), serta menunjukkan sikap rendah hati dan berserah diri kepada Tuhan dalam melakukan tugas sebagai guru PAK (kompetensi kepribadian). Guru PAK telah berhasil menunjukkan kompetensi yang tinggi dalam penguasaan keilmuan, desain pembelajaran, keterlibatan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pendekatan pembelajaran, penggunaan sumber belajar yang relevan, kerjasama dan kolaborasi, pengembangan karakter, serta pengintegrasian spiritualitas dan keagamaan dalam proses pembelajaran. Profesionalisme ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan agama Kristen dan pembentukan karakter siswa yang baik di SMK Kecamatan Mengkendek. Practical Theological Study About Teacher Calls in Implementing Teaching and Leaming Processes in Vocational Schools in Mengkendek District". This research highlights the call of the professionalism of Christian Religious Education Teachers (PAK) when performing their obligations in schools that continue to develop their professionalism in teaching and learning activities in schools every day. It is undeniable that there are still most Christian Religious Education teachers (PAK) not yet shown a call as an educator who prioritizes his personal interests above the public interest, especially in education in other words the level of professionality is still low. In accordance with the description of the problem above, there is an interest in the researcher to study how the teacher PAK understands his calling in the teaching and leaming process as a form of manifestation of professionalism. In this study using a qualitative method supported by data collection techniques by means of observation interviews and literature studies so that the data from the study is expected to be valid with the acquisition of data from trusted informants. In accordance with the results of the study concluded that a PAK teacher who has a strong competence and readiness in aspects of personality, social and spiritual, is considered as a professional person in carrying out his duties in SMK Mengkendek district. The application of each competency includes: showing concern for students and providing moral and spiritual support to them in accordance with the teachings of Christianity (spiritual competence), forming positive relationships with students, fellow teachers, and non-PAK teachers to create an environment Leaming that is fun for students (social competendes), as well as showing a humble attitude and surrender to God in carrying out the task of being a teacher PAK (Personality Competency). PAK teachers have succeeded in showing high competence in mastery of scientific, learning design, involvement in extracurricular activities, learning approaches, relevant learning resources, cooperation and collaboration, character development, and Integra ting spirituality and religion in the leaming process. This professionalism contributes to improving the quaJity of Christian religious education and the formation of good student character in the Mengkendek District Vocational School.
